Food & Wine's Editorial Guidelines Published on August 8, 2024 Close Photo: Food & Wine / Wendy's / Getty Images According to Wendy’s, over two-thirds (70%) of Frosty lovers prefer to enjoy their frozen treats with a spoon. Another 15% take things slow, sipping it with a straw, while the final 15% eat their Frosty one dipped French fry at a time. (We don’t have to tell you what the right way to eat a Frosty is.) Regardless of how you start — or finish — your Frosty, you can get a small Frosty for just $1 at participating Wendy’s restaurants for the next six weeks. From Monday, August 5 through Sunday, September 15, each small Frosty is just a buck, and there’s no limit on how many $1 Frostys you can enjoy during those six weeks. (If you have one Frosty each day of this offer, that’s 42 delicious frozen desserts.) The $1 Frosty offer is good for the Classic Chocolate Frosty or for what Wendy’s says are “the final days” for its Triple Berry Frosty, which debuted in mid-June. The seasonal dessert combines blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry flavors and arrived just as Wendy’s pulled the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty off its menu. Wendy’s New Frosty Flavor Drops This Monday — and It’s Perfect for Summer On top of that, customers who have created a MyWendy’s account on the Wendy’s app or on its website can earn Rewards that can be redeemed for free food and drinks. For each $1 spent — including on each $1 Frosty — you earn 10 points, and those points can add up quickly. As of this writing, the reward redemptions start at 200 points and go all the way up to 800 points for items like the Baconator or a Fresh Made Salad. Orders placed through the Wendy’s app or on Wendys.com start earning points automatically, while customers who order in-store or at the drive-thru will need to scan the QR code from the Wendy’s app at the time of the order. When it comes to earning points, literally every food, drink, and dessert on the Wendy’s menu counts; the only exemptions are Wendy’s gift cards. “They’re not food,” Wendy’s says on its website before joking, “We do not condone eating gift cards.” Wendy’s has not yet revealed which kind of Frosty will follow Triple Berry. In previous years, the Ohio-based chain has offered seasonally appropriate Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint flavors, along with an always-classic Vanilla Frosty. If past releases are anything to go by, the next flavor may roll out in September, but that’s a lot of $1 Frostys from now. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
