Whether it’s a trip to the beach, picnics in the park, camping, or backpacking, a few pieces of equipment or accessories make that adventure much smoother. Amazon's camp kitchen storefront is one of our favorite places to find the latest gear from brands like Yeti and Sea to Summit, plus top-rated offerings from lesser-known brands. If you’re in the market for a new cooler, cook stove, lightweight cookware, or fuel storage, you’ll find it, and much more, there. Here are eight picks worth packing. Amazon’s Best Camping New Arrivals to Shop This Summer: Everlasting Ice RX Reusable Ice Packs for Coolers Sea to Summit Ultralight Collapsable Camp Cup Coletti Sierra Collapsable Coffee Pour-Over Dripper Fortitude21 Expedition Essentials Trail-Tested 19-Piece Cookware Collection Yeti Roadie 15 Hard Cooler Winkiza 2 Burner Foldable Camping Stove with Griddle Kovshuiwe Mini Fuel Cylinder Storage Bag Addimor Jumbo Insulated Cooler Bag Everlasting Ice RX Reusable Ice Packs for Cooler Amazon $16 at Amazon Keeping food and drinks cold in a cooler can be complicated. Ice melts, and the water sogs out anything not protected. That’s without mentioning the need to dry the cooler after emptying it. Blue gel ice packs can be bulky, with a chemical composition that gives some people pause. These reusable ice packs use actual ice — just fill them with water and freeze them before use. Their thin design maximizes space, as you can use them to line the bottom and sides of your cooler or even slide them between food and drinks. Sea to Summit Ultralight Collapsable Cup Amazon $15 at Amazon Rigid camp cups take up space in a backpack, and metal cups conduct heat straight to your mouth. Made of silicone, this collapsable cup from Sea to Summit solves both of these issues. Nylon rings give it a semi-rigid structure and offer extra heat protection. It holds a generous 12 ounces of liquid, but it adds just 1.9 ounces of weight to your backpack. Plus, it folds flat to a mere 2 centimeters, so you can even fit in your pocket when you’ve finished your beverage. Coletti Sierra Collapsable Coffee Pour-Over Dripper Amazon $8 at Amazon Why stop at a collapsable cup? This collapsable pour-over coffee dripper allows you to make (actually) good coffee while camping, which is itself a feat. This lightweight design expands to 4.25 by 3.5 inches and has a broad, sturdy base that prevents slipping. The dripper is easy to clean at the campsite, and it’s also dishwasher safe for when you get home. The non-toxic silicone construction is thick and durable to prevent punctures when stuffing it away in a pack pocket. It’s worth noting that the Sierra requires a filter, so don’t forget to pack some before you leave. Fortitude21 Expedition Essentials Trail-Tested 19-Piece Cookware Collection Amazon $35 at Amazon From the campsite to the backcountry, space comes at a premium when you’re staying outdoors. This 19-piece set of lightweight camp cookware has all the gear for cooking for two in a compact, folding set. A skillet, pot, and kettle — all with collapsable, folding handles — make up the bulk of the set, but it also includes folding silverware, plates, cups, cleaning cloths, and a windscreen to shield your cook fire or stove. Pan and kettle capacities range from 0.6 to 1.4 liters, which, while small, is plenty for two people. The components fold, stack, and nest to fit into a small carrying bag that can attach to a pack with an included carabiner, or fit into a small space in your car’s trunk. Yeti Roadie 15 Hard Cooler Amazon $200 at Amazon Yeti’s newest and smallest cooler holds 22 cans, a two-liter bottle, 16 pounds of ice, or some combination. The Roadie 15 has the insulation that Yeti built its name on and features silicone latches and a padded shoulder strap. Full disclosure: Yeti sent me this cooler to test out ahead of its release. Last week, I put it in the bed of my truck with a couple of ice packs inside before driving 500 miles in the Florida and Georgia summer heat without an appreciable change in temperature. Rain, sun, and an accidental drop from my tailgate did nothing to affect the finish or the contents inside. Winkiza 2 Burner Foldable Camping Stove with Griddle Amazon $140 at Amazon This isn’t a stove suited for backpacking, as it weighs 9.5 pounds, but it’s a solid two-burner option for car camping. Measuring 9.5 by 8.3 by 4.5 inches when folded, it’s compact enough to fit into small trunk spaces. Each burner provides 8,000 BTUs from a 1-pound propane cylinder, and an included griddle can occupy one of the burners. The stove lights with a piezo ignition switch and the burner grates pop out for easy cleaning and access to clean the drip tray. It’s a small stove for small cookware, but perfectly suited for two to four people. Kovshuiwe Mini Fuel Cylinder Storage Bag Amazon $14 at Amazon Many camp stoves, portable grills, and lanterns use a 1-pound propane cylinder for fuel. For me, there’s always the question of how to store and transport them safely, as I don’t want them rolling around in the car while driving. (The potential for kaboom!) This storage bag from Kovshuiwe solves that problem. This zippered bag holds two 1-pound cylinders side by side, allowing you to store the fuel safely and securely, and then move them, thanks to a sturdy carry strap. The thick bag material is UV-, water-, and crack-resistant, and the large, dual-sided zipper is easy to open and close. Addimor Jumbo Insulated Cooler Bag Amazon $20 at Amazon There are plenty of hard and soft-sided coolers on the market. But this cooler bag from Addimor is a multi-purpose bag, offering up to 12 hours of insulation for cold foods while it can also double as an all-around tote. The cooler bag is suitable for keeping food cold on the way to the campsite or on the way home from the store. Its 10-gallon, 45-pound capacity is large enough for a few days of groceries, or stuffing with towels, bug spray, and other miscellaneous necessities, and the bag has a small, zippered front pocket for holding smaller objects, like phones or keys.
